three little words



After a long day of traveling, Mr. Howell and I are happily situated in Beantown. And I'm reminded once again how much I adore traveling without children. Traveling with the boys is fun too, but without? Amazing. Plain and simple.

You get a chance to talk. Like actually talk. Trade stories. Make plans. Uninterrupted.

Plus nothing beats the feeling when your partner of nearly 16 years turns to you and says those three little words.

You are funny.

Thanks Mr. Howell. I think you are funny too. Excited to spend a long weekend with you.

    Enjoy! There's nothing quite like parents getting away together (I can't speak from experience, but I can imagine).
