Last night was a perfect summer evening.
We spent it with some dear friends watching World Cup coverage in their backyard. This family knows how to do it up right! There was keg beer, a gigantic television (purchased on craigslist for $50 - beat that!), and delicious food. They have decorated the yard with giant world flags and even set up a sweet new geodome for the kids (and certain mamas).
And what's more … they have done this every day. Talk about a family who loves to party!

So thank you to my beloved friend JMP for the invitation and these lovely pictures. And thank you for babysitting Mr. Howell after I had to take the kids home. We had a blast. You are the hostess supreme and I am thrilled to be raising children with you.
